2018 General Recruiting Thread

Man the last few weeks have been really slow, podcasts talking about history not much new, then BAM! I have been reading through the comments and been kind of speechless as to what to say. Really liking how things are sailing, no they are not all top 30 kids like some schools manage, but I really think with the right combination of top 100 kids, if coached and managed the right way, IU could easily start the climb back to being a perennial powerhouse. Icing on the cake would be to land a Romeo, Garland, Dort, or Duke, but I think the foundation is set and we are all getting ready for the ride!

I'm gonna need some clarification on that "more" comment, Brian.

I don't know for 100% certainty if he meant "more coverage" or "there is more coming".  Some feel Phinisee isn't far behind with the domino effect.  If that occurred and he could lock in on Romeo and move to 2019?  Wow

Correct if I'm wrong, but couldn't we take Henry, garland, and Langford and expect Garland and Langford to leave and have 4 scholarships or something still?

Yes. However, I don't know if Garland is a sure fire one and done because of his size. Romeo is guaranteed though.

Coach Flint tried hard to get Phinisee to pull the trigger today after RP talked to Anderson for a while. RP is probably still going to wait till August to make a decision.

Dang the staff is going all out. That'd be wonderful if they could lock up the '18 class soon and then focus all their attention on '19.
