I don't know if I see Knight making the final four regardless of who's in his bracket tbh. It seems like a lot of people on here aren't the biggest fans of him.

You might be surprised.

I am one of the oldsters that got tired of his act and am "done" with him now (ignoring his former players pleas to go to ceremonies etc) but......in spite of that I would put him in the FF without any hesitation or question.  Coach of 3/5 of the NC's, and other accomplishments, makes him a lock solid, no-doubt FF pick.

Without a doubt, despite what he has been the last 20 years or so he really put our program on the national stage.  We like to talk about how despite not being a top 10 program we are a top 10 job because of the potential.

Knight built the foundation that potential rests on.  The rich boosters now grew up watching his teams.

I'd help. Do you have criteria you plan to use?

You'd just rank the list of players however you see fit. This whole tournament is based on personal opinion so everyones criteria will be different. As soon as I get all the individual rankings I'll essentially average them for seeding.

Bracey Wright??????    Seriously?   Shocking to see some of the names that made people's lists.   Bracey Wright was a horrible team mate, never got any better, was one of the most selfish players in IU history, and never won anything.  Why would he make any list?

Some awesome names in the mix, but I don't know how anyone beats Knight.

Some are younger posters that haven't had near as much experience watching IU as others. To them, Bracey was a great player, no need criticize them for something that's supposed to be fun.

He's not criticizing. He's just making sure they know that their opinion is wrong and unacceptable.

I get that, but I'm going to disagree with you as politely as I can.   Despite the 3-4 member peanut gallery of usual suspects (old men in the balcony of the Muppet Show) who have nothing better to do....  And I'm not criticizing them.

I never saw Don Schlundt or Walt Bellamy play, but I know how good they were.  History is important.  Culture is important.  Indiana got away from it with coaches like Davis, players like Wright (where has he been since he left IU?  Has anyone heard from him?  A self centered, me-first kid who never played defense and never improved), and look where we are 17 years later.   The peanut gallery can criticize and insult all it wants to.  Have at it, boys.   You see things differently than I do; and yeah, boot..your opinion is wrong.  Just like you always tell me mine is.   They still fired Crean, though.   Maybe I wasn't as wrong as you thought.

3-4 people? Lol. I'd never seen one poster destroy a whole message board before.

And nobody in that "3-4 people" you're referencing has criticized or insulted here as you claim.
