Classifies Jager as a Redshirt Sophomore and Race Thompson as a Freshman rather than a Redshirt Freshman. Hmm..

I wouldn't read anything into that. I don't think players are listed as redshirt until they actually complete the year. If you go back and look at the roster from two seasons ago you will see that Josh Newkirk was just listed as a junior during his transfer sit out year. Then the following year he was listed as a redshirt junior.

Ethan Lasko

Florida Vipers AAU

6'2" 175 combo guard.  Walk on.

HS#s 25 ppg, 2.7 apg, 3.7 rpg, 2.9 spg

watched his videos.  Good job staff.  Couple of good walk on guards with this guy and Vijay Blackmon.

Same AAU team as Silvio de Sousa and Darius Days.

LOL at Al's face in this photo. I think we're going to like him. (from men's bb twitter)

Good to get a feel for height in this pic.  Race looks every bit of his reported height, Clifton and Justin Smith, too.  And yeah Jager is a funny dude.  His Instagram posts are awesome, always self-deprecating.

Rick Bozich confirmed what myself and others have been saying for awhile tweeted out that Curtis Jones along with Juwan Morgan look very much improved this summer. Seen others w the Morgan news as well. Safe to say the cujo transfer or even possibility is probably out the door. I know most of us myself included are high on Green but if ANYONE he would seem the most likely. Season can change a lot and offseason isn't games so maybe cujo takes a step back. I have heard he has been our best player times though so I have very high hopes for him. With Newkirk and RoJo it'll be hard for a true breakout to happen but it'll be something to ease concerns about the 2 guard spot once RoJo leaves.

Nice to hear. I'm lowkey expectng us to be way better than people expect. If DD can man the middle, we can be pretty good.

Likely 3 senior starters. Then a Junior and Soph that might be our best 2 players. Freshman with athleticism and varied skill sets. A walk on who is used to real minutes.

Can't wait to find out.

Great to hear about Cujo. Kid could be an absolute beast in 2 years

I like Cujo but I'm curious what kind of player the board hive mind envisions he could become. Last year he seemed a bit unaware even in the Kansas game: lots of shots that looked like bad decisions went down.

So I ask, what do we think he might become in a somewhat rosy scenario? Blackmon-esque 2 with limited off-the-dribble effectiveness? LeVert-style skinny combo guard who can shoot a little, pass a little, and handles it a lot even as the nominal 2? Jamal Crawfordish 6th man? Some variety of PG?

Starting.
With Hartman as the 6th man.
That's what I envision CuJo doing this season.

To generate discussion---any news on Priller's development? Can he step up to more back up minutes this year? He will always be a fan favorite-- but his hustle and experience have led to good plays when he gets limited minutes late in games. Any chance we see his minutes increase since he is a big body and we are thin/young inside?

We know he can set picks and stretch the floor. My guess is his obvious athletic limitations will keep him from ever seeing much time barring a barrage of injuries. He would get picked on defensively and probably not help much on the boards. He might be an interesting play alongside De'Ron though in limited minutes.
