With the Alford rumors and Donovan rumors. The Alford rumors have been shot down many many times by multiple media members. With the Donovan rumors, not many people have said anything about those. The media isn't even talking about the Donovan rumors but our insiders seem to all have the same information or close to it.

Agree that OKC isn't exactly LA, but until this season, OKC hasn't really needed to be a major free agent destination because they drafted so well. They were right on the verge for a couple seasons and had their opportunities.

I just don't see Donovan giving up and bolting after one halfway decent season.. I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't think there is any president for that type of move.

We can talk about Westbrook's historical season and it's very impressive, but he's definitely out there hunting for triple doubles. That could hurt the team just as much as it helps the team.

I can see FCTC being a real possibility at OSU.  They just lost a coach, due in large part because their AD was being stingy.  With Pickens deep pockets the AD may decide to hire a name coach and give him a decent contract.  Also, as I understand it they (OSU) were all offense and little defense this year - sounds tailor-made for a certain out of work coach.

I'm not sure there was "precedent" for firing a coach a year after he was conference coach of the year, but that didn't stop us...might as well keep making history.
