Take the top five coaches that you can come up with then eliminate them. With Glass as AD, there is little chance of a good pick. He is of the belief that we need top ATHLETES, not players that can exhibit some team work, stay out of trouble, etc...,  As we've seen, any decent coach can put together a decent season or two based on athletes, but Until we get back to expecting excellence on AND off the court, things will never return to greatness with any longevity attached to it. 

Better to get a transition coach to change the culture first(I.e. Kieth Smart) and rebuild the right way.

Sorry,but I have know clue what that even meant.Glass isn't going to coach or pick the players.

Donovan is my first choice (Stevens isn't happening in my opinion), after that I like Marshall.

Many on the 247 board have been skeptical of him, but he hasn't wavered, and now 0708 and mile are hearing similar things about IU and Donovan, so he may be legit, I hope so.  However, if he's wrong, and we get Marshall or Archie, I'd be okay.

And apparently there are some national media people that are beginning to include Billy Donovan in the list of potential candidates, that may not be a coincidence.

add bluegrass (I think) to that list too.  As soon as it was announced yesterday, all of those guys yesterday started to get on board with having a real chance at Donovan.

If/when HickoryHoosier comes in saying that we may end up with Donovan, my head will explode.  He's the one who has said "dream on" in regards to him in the past.

HH was also very adamant that we should back off the fire Crean train until right before the announcement was official lol. Was amusing to see.

Yep, holding out hope that Hickory is hearing Billy Donovan stuff now.

Hickory was also the first to then say there was a 99% chance Crean is fired on Thursday by 5 o'clock, and it happened.

On ESPN this morning, but he wasn't mentioned as the lead candidate.  Also, Dakich and Kravitz have mentioned Donovan.

Good thing Donovan and Marshall are 6 & 7 on my list. I can go ahead and eliminate 1. Tom Crean

sad to see my top 5 be off the table, but Ill settle for 6 or 7.
