Was a little surprised at the call to Durham so early. I think the lack of impact recruits, and particularly the four big Indiana high school misses contributed to Crean's downfall. Not sure I wouldn't prefer the extra scholarship

I will say this in regards to Durham. I've followed things closely. He has a gigantic chip on his shoulder. He and his camp REALLY believe he is way underrated.

My take. I like the kid. He seems like a cool dude. He's versatile. He is long. He is athletic. He doesn't shoot it with any consistency. He's is the prototypical "soft" Crean player.

I don't know if we can do better at this stage but he truly does have nice upside if he can be motivated to play with some bulldog in him.

Agreed, worth a shot given the upside.

Moore yes. Durham, idk never saw the guy play but seems like maybe not.

Durham had a really bad summer last year, shot well under 40% if I remember correctly. Moore has a lot of potential, I get sort of a poor mans Jonathan Isaac vibe from him.

Moore is a beast. Living in Philly, they have plenty of players to rave about but Moore is getting attention. Went to see him and love his game. Afraid he isn't hanging around from what I've been told

Also as an aside. Is it just me or did Crean always recruit soft players? What's the deal with that? It almost needs its own thread. Lost of pyscho therapy at play there potentially.

We never had any enforcers down low, no big men who protected the paint. Not many real good perimeter defenders except for Vic. Soft players would explain the overall poor defense during his time here.

That's a shame, was growing more and more excited about him. His 2 or 3 highlight reels were super impressive. Playing him at the 3 at times would have been entertaining.

Yeah it defines almost all the players he recruited except Sheehey and Pritchard. I guess Green too. Anyway, we have been a soft team so long I'm excited to see some grit finally.

Trust me when I say I'm rooting against myself. In his defense, how does he fit in Archie's system? idk.

The Greek Freak's little brother (Kostas Antetokounmpo) is a freshman on Dayton. Redshirted this season. Was a 4* recruit last year, #53 on 24/7 rankings. That'd be a nice one to steal.

Academic redshirt. He was a partial qualifier
