(2017) PG Tremont Waters to LSU

Recommended Posts

Was looking at the Georgetown message board and apparently Waters was at their midnight madness tonight. Are they more of a player than previously thought?

Dynamite comes in small packages.  I believe hops come wrapped in this package as well.

Wow.  Not even 6 ft and has no problem throwing it down.

Really want this guy, he seems like a good kid and a natural leader, the kind of player who you'd love to have in your program for 3-4 years.

Isn't taking a picture(with the team and rapper)/meeting Wale at their event a recruiting violation?

According to Albers it is.  He tweeted the NCAA rulebook section to that effect.

"According to NCAA Bylaw 13.10.2.4, Georgetown just committed an NCAA violation by posting a photo with recruit Tremont Waters in it."

And then later this from Rabjohns: " Usually that stuff is a secondary violation at most. Somebody gets chewed out, a bunch of paperwork happens & that's probably about it."

Probably get punished more than UNC for that.

I wonder what was up with the Georgetown visit then. Cultivating his own back up option?

To continue waters talk from Wilkes thread. I never heard waters say he was committing to Kentucky ever I only heard chatter saying he was and not going to the iu visit. Waters seems like a kid that is going to the let the process play out. I view waters going to Georgetown visit as a kid that lives nearby and wanted to check a team that he has already taken an official visit to a second look before ultimately make a huge decision for his life. I will wait until he commits somewhere and find an interview after to try and get a better picture of how his commitment played out. Everyone said the only reason Bryant choose iu was because Syracuse was in trouble and had limited schollys. Everyone but Bryant himself who gave an interview with Syracuse.com after his recruitment on why he choose iu. Sometimes recruiting can be hard to find out what is really going on and in some cases the outside world will never truly know

He lives nearby? Does he not leave in Conn?  Cause that's like a 5 hour drive. I mean I'm not freaking out about it or anything hell it could be something as simple as him being a fan of that rapper they had.

To me it just doesn't feel like a kid that knows where he's going to commit

To me it feels like a kid with a top 5 list of schools and has just visited each and probably doesn't know where he wants to go (maybe the crystal ball knows). Maybe closer to Georgetown then any other school in his top 5.
