He trusts analytics too much and that is coming from someone that is a data analysts. Numbers in either direction always tell a part of the story. He trusts those numbers and tendencies too much. I will agree with that. I have been at numerous games over the years of all sports where a coach would go through notes. I'm all about a coach preparing his backside off and if that includes an entire encyclopedia set on the sideline than so be it. However, I would prefer a coach to be able feel and understand how to counter when something happens. He seems so caught up in his notes or plan he forgets that things are changing around him. First and foremost give me a coach that sees the momentum change and uses a timeout. It was awesome he waited to use his timeout after Minny went on a 13-3 run to end the half.
