I agree but we are seeing what top programs do in down years if we look at Michigan, Wisconsin or Ohio State.

I agree we will be down and I'm not sold on Blackmon being the answer either. He has to prove he can play defense. IF, the defense is solid and the pg play is good a down year should still be top 5 and competing at the top. Not expecting another conference title but gotta be top 5 in a retooling year.

I think my definition of "down" is different than yours. I guess I just meant worse than this year. I have no idea without seeing Indiana's schedule how many they will win. I don't see them as a team that wins the conference. I see them maybe 3-4. Down as compared to this year. Fueling the inconsistency narrative, which I get.

If we are still top 4 or 5 in the conference in a down year I think people could deal alot easier.  Especially if we can land some of those Indiana recruits for the next year.

I might be in the minority, but honestly I don't care if he wins the B1G I think he should be fired. He has proved what he is and that is very inconsistent, and unable to make lasting change. On the bright side though we have not had anymore problems with the law since the beginning of the year.

Here in Memphis the Tigers head coach is probably gonna be fired after this season. But get this.... If they fire him they have to pay him 10 million bucks.
