Why lol

I took some shots at Crean a few months back after the IPFW loss. He made an excuse about OG being sick and I told him he was an idiot if he thought we should actually lose even if OG played 0 minutes. I didn't think much of it and went to check on some recruiting news to find I was blocked lol. The article he posted is premium members only. Likely posting just to get some extra money flow. I don't think Crean has told anyone in the program besides maybe Glass his real intentions.

I'm sure he has been told he needs to explore other options. The fans and alumni have spoken.

To his credit had to been hard to recruit kids to SW Missouri St., Iowa and New Mexico. I was a sophomore in high school when IU won in 1987 and drove from Terre Haute to go watch them play and especially Alford (Indiana kid, kept his mouth shut, played as an olympian, led team in scoring, etc.)?

I guess I am just confused with the hate......What did Alford do to piss everyone on here? Was it because he got Luke Recker to Iowa and you've been unable to forgive him? Didn't he get SW Missouri St. to a couple of sweet sixteens, won 2 Mountain West Championships at New Mexico for God's sake, yeah at New Mexico.

Nothing against New Mexico, but how do you win consistently at a place like New Mexico if your not a great recruiter or half of a coach? Is there something that Alford did that I may have missed besides backing Bobby Knight all these years? He would recruit the hell out of this state and I think a lot of high school coaches would have a great rapport with him.....just saying, off my soap box. Lol

Not the guy I want but to call him terrible is just wrong.His ethics are another story.I'll hope for Bennett Collins or Archie but I will support whoever's coaching our Hoosiers.Alford is heads and shoulders better then Crean.His half court sets are something we havent seen in years.Like I said not my choice but I'm not doing the hiring.
