I question a person's ability to reason and rationalize when I see them question Billy Donovan's potential at Indiana. He would dominate. Especially now that he can pull the "I was an NBA coach" card. It matters.

Who is questioning Donovan's potential here?  That person would need their head examined.

Am I the only one who thinks Stevens and Donovan are not even a remote possibility? Don't see either one leaving the NBA for IU. They both have a pretty good thing going in the pros.

I don't think Stevens is a realistic possibility, at least not right now, but I think Donovan is more realistic. His team is meh right now and if Westbrook leaves then they'll be very bad. The situation he's in now isn't the one he thought he was leaving Florida for. It's still a long shot, but I think the chance is there.

Anybody going to listen to coaches radio show to see if he can get u back on his side or say something to give optimistic outlook on rest of season?

Billy Donovan has won 2 national championships as a HC. The guy had consistent success at Florida and went toe to toe with Kentucky almost every year. Going toe to toe with Kentucky is not an easy thing to do. Donovan would bring consistent success and stability to IU. And I do think he is a very good possibility. Westbrook is gonna leave for the Lakers soon and that team will have nothing. Go back to college and restore IU to what they used to be. He'd be a God

At this point I don't think there is anything he can that would get me back on his side.  Although if he said he resigns effective immediately it'd give me a more optimistic outlook for the future of the program, pending the administration not botching the hire at least.

Careful.  If the administration sees that it may convince them to not even pick up the phone.

Haha yeah that's probably true. But as far as I'm concerned, if a coach is great at IU, he's gonna be considered a God. This is a basketball school and a basketball state. There are people who used to be IU fans that are just waiting for a coach to get behind. This program just needs the right hire and it will be back to where we all want it to be

I'm in full agreement that the only thing IU basketball needs is the right coach.  With the resources IU has it's a sleeping giant.

Said he actually wants TB to shoot from the perimeter, then in 100 words made note that 3>2

I think we all already knew this, sadly.  There is no post in Crean's offense, there are perimeter players and players he wants on the perimeter; kind of like there are no bad shots, only bad decisions to not shoot.  30 feet away with 5 players guarding you?  Perfect time to force a stupid shot.
