Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 MIght as well get it up and running so we can start frothing at the mouth after that humiliating beat down at Michigan. #iubb opens as a 2-point dog at Northwestern. Pomeroy puts it at 6 with a 32% chance of an IU victory. Put me down in the "I'm worried" column. hsrtxp Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 I don't see them responding with a win. I'm already chalking this up to a loss. I'm worried that we won't see any fight in them. While I don't think CTC is the long term answer I don't want to see a team give up and pack it in. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Nor do I, but we shot 54.5% from the field and 54% on our 3's and still got the snot kicked out of us because we committed too many TO's and didn't play a lick of defense. Both of the latter are chronic IU problems and clearly aren't correctible by CTC and staff. So do the players start thinking well, we can't play any better than we did and still got beat so what the heck? I think we'll have a good idea of just how competitive we're going to be against NW by the second media timeout if not by the first. We so badly need a leader on the court. hsrtxp and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 Maybe this explains part of JBJ"s shooting problems against Michigan but it surely isn't good news going forward. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 Anyone ever wonder what might happen if it were CTC that came down with the flu or an injury and couldn't coach? HoosierAloha 1 Quote

CTC would forfeit the game due to the 'insurmountable odds' and 'emotional distress' the team would suffer in his absence. Quote
