Man, a sponsor on McCracken Court is going to be a TOUGH sell to the fanbase.

If this is off the playing surface, ex. outside the sidelines like the NBA does it won't be that big of a deal, but I'm not sure where exactly they're putting them based on the release.

Well... since we can't move the scorer's table back enough for the players checking in to even sit there, we can't move the media back enough for players to even land out of bounds.... you're right it undoubtedly has to be on the court for it to matter.

Sorry had to vent about those two things, can't stand it.

Definitely a claustrophobic floor area. Someone might pay up to NOT have a sponsor on the floor lol.

Does anyone know if you have to park in the grass lot assigned to you? Can I park in the Park Avenue lot if I have a Forest Avenue pass? I thought there were just grass lots, didn't know we had specific names. I bought Park Avenue and a friend bought Forest Avenue.

Don’t know the answer to your question, but it sure sounds like they’ve neutered the grass lot situation over the last few years. That would just be further nut-cutting.

Lot 12 stand up!

No doubt. Who knew the grass lots had names. Plus assigning parking spaces, they made it not as fun.

If you had just described it to me I would have thought thumbs up. But actually seeing it, not so much.

Thoughts?

I have a lot of gear from The Shop in my closet. This will not make the cut.

Might be a scorcher, but I am not a fan of the whole bison crusade constantly happening on Twitter.

Yeah, the bison feels pretty jammed down our throats, though I don’t hate it. But I will always hate the big flat brim.

For those who don't know or simply don't remember, John Ritter singlehandedly defeated Notre Dame in a game played in December 1971.  The final score was 94-29.  John Ritter scored 31 points!

I like that we are targeting big time WRs.  I know Rourke gets a lot of credit for great QB play but our WRs are strong.  Those back shoulder throws are impressive but equally impressive is the ability of the WR to turn his body while running to catch it.  I have not seen a drop stat for our WRs but it has to be very low as they seem to catch everything.

Believe last week was the 1st drop of the season from a WR

What are Coach Cignetti and Co.'s biggest offseason (positional) needs for next year from the transfer portal?

I ask this because we definitely got exposed a little on both sides of the ball vs. OSU. With some good NIL money, what kind of players can we get or have to have?

Cornerbacks, OLB's, etc.?

Tackles, Guards, Tight Ends, etc. ?

Spend everything on a great O line.  The other positions we have the coaches to develop well. If our line doesn’t have a Bubba in it, then we’re not doing it right.

They basically have to revamp the roster again like they did last year. Both sides of the ball will have like 3 or 4 returning. I don't know the focus but I'm assuming a lot will go into the front 5 and front 7.

Personally, I think the biggest concern we'll be facing is retaining the staff.

Yes,

Lot of players to fill in without having 13 following from JMU, retaining the staff will be difficult and next year we play at Oregon, at Iowa and at PSU. No strength of schedule issue.

I think the schedule is another good schedule for us to be honest. We'll be fine.

I think we need to really hit the portal hard this spring. Like I said about our women’s bball team the last five years with their success, it’s one thing to have fleeting success over performing and being coached well - but if you want to sustain it and become a regular power program eventually you have to capitalize on your moment by getting better talent. At some point talent wins out. We need to use our good press and vibes to go from a bunch of three stars to a good smathering of four star talent or we’ll fall back into the pack with time. Mich, Iowa, Washington, Wiscy, USC aren’t going to stay .500 teams and make it easy to stay in the top half of the conference. BIG Offseason ahead for our staff or we bring in the opportunity to be a flash in the pan that benefited from a down year for the conference and 13 transfers from one school. Hope we come through.

It wouldn't shock me to see another 3-5 guys come our way from JMU, though.
