I always felt like he would end up a Hoosier but talked with both mom and dad last week and they gave zero indication he would be a Hoosier. This one was tight lipped for sure. IU did a fantastic job with Mullins. IU is in a better spot with Mullins than they have been at any other time in this recruitment.

It has been suggested to Peegs members that they plan on neglecting any responsibilities until later in the week so get used to it! Fortunately I am retired so can perseverate on this stuff 24/7. LOL

It's been a long road on this one keeping my bias out of the way but so happy for Trent and his family! LET'S GOO!

Even if he doesn't end up being a featured piece at Montverde, the year spent in that program will be so much better for his development (and ours) than if he had stayed at Heritage Hills. I don't mean that as a dig at HH but the MVA program and level of competition he'll face is just so much better than what your typical high school program can offer.

I was never feeling confident but just because the family held everything so close to their vest. But feel good now.

@IU - Kaulie What the puck does 'game experience' even mean?! Attending a Big Ten football game in a large +50k seat stadium doesn't get more game experience than anything else that I can think of. For real. What the heck does 'game experience' mean? Give examples please. And to think waiting for the wheather to get colder will help with attendance is, as you put it, comical. Ask the folks in Athens, GA or Gainesville, FL or any SEC or ACC southern team for that matter about how much the weather matters for their attendance. I'll bet my entire life savings that 9 out of 10 that you ask, answers, "It doesn't matter." Us IUFB faithful will never understand this type of mindset. I'd rather read from folks that they just aren't football fans and could care less about the program than read some of these sorry ars excuses. Eff sake, either get on this train or get off. Enough with the excuses. Change your mindset. Take it from a guy that's watched this program since the 80s, this team is different. In a good way.

No. Trent Sisley committing to IU has no effect on Haralson whatsoever. In fact, given Haralson’s status and versatility there is likely no player’s commitment that would have much of any effect. We have at least six open spots for 2025 and probably more than that. Haralson knows that if grabs one of them he’ll be in the mix for major minutes as a freshman.

Gotta be impressed with the timing. You announce that in April and that may have been more than a bit ugly. You put it out there now with some optimism around IUBB and Cig doing Cig things and even those most down on the guy are just gonna shrug and grumble a little.

Yup, and Painter REALLY sold out here. Just more evidence that even with Purdue where it is right now the vast majority of top Indiana kids will always want to go to IU.
