Jacksonville (Florida) Sandalwood cornerback Quran Hafiz is nearing the end of his recruitment, and knows when he's announcing his decision.

The 247Sports Composite three-star cornerback tweeted Sunday night that he's making his decision between Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State and Nebraska on Dec. 19. He will also be signing that day and enrolling for the spring semester wherever he commits. Hafiz, who is ranked as the No. 85 cornerback in the class of 2017, has taken official visits to all four schools, in addition to Minnesota.

He has developed tight relationships with many of the coaches recruiting him, and is close with multiple players on the teams he's considering. He said Nebraska corner and Florida native Chris Jones is "like a brother" and he played with current Indiana true freshman receiver Phil Benker at Sandalwood.

Iowa State is scheduled to get his final official visit this coming weekend. Hafiz committed to the Cyclones in July, then decommitting in September. Nebraska leads Iowa State in his Crystal Ball, and all four predictions for Iowa State were made the day he committed there in July.
