Marion (7-4) left Anderson with a 73-58 victory and were led by sophomore Jalen Blackmon's 28 points,

Lafayette Jeff drubbed Marion 103 - 70.  Blackmon scored a career high 42 pts. for Marion who did play without 6'6" Latrell Simpson out with an injury.  Without Simpson, Jeff outrebounded Marion 47-29.

Is his defense anything like his JBJ? Because Archie doesn’t like players who can’t defend. We’ve seen that.

Marion Giant Jalen Blackmon was named an IBCA/Subway Player of the Week after he had 30 points in a 73-58 win over Anderson and followed it with 42 points in a 103-70 loss to Lafayette Jeff. Jalen was 23-for-48 from the field and 19-for-24 from the free-throw line for the week.
