Our success rate at landing the HH visitor is low. But IMO it doesn't hurt recruiting at all to advertise headliner type recruits cycling through.

Preston could make some sense but his recruitment is here, there, and everywhere. Pipe dream of Bamba is still the best opportunity but as much time as we've spent on him nothing seems reciprocated.

I'm absolutely not counting our "headliner" as a realistic option but I'm excited to see who we bring in.

No, honestly not sure who. Didn't mean to imply I did. I just heard the staff if pushing for a "headliner." Combining that with the current momentum on the recruiting front and I think something gets arranged.

 

I'll try to find out if he was a saying a specific headliner, I took it more as that was the plan. I could have interpreted that wrong

OOO, OOOH...ME FIRST!!!

I have non-specific, hyper-psychic, inside/outside information that:

Martha the Mop Lady, pudgy, old and gray-haired, in a frumpy dress will push a giant mop-bucket to center court. The houselights go down, and a spotlight zooms in. Out of the giant bucket jumps Middle School Bob and five thugs. All five thugs chase MSB around the court until Tijan Jobe parachutes down from the rafters, captures all five thugs with his magic liger-like powers, and cages said thugs. 

Just when you think you've seen the entire surprise, Martha whips off her wig and frumpy dress, to reveal that underneath, it is Coach Bob Knight.

RMK chokes out the thugs, switches his presidential endorsement from Trump to Priller, and the women's team pre-season layup drill begins.

 

(at least I think that's what is gonna happen. I can't be 100% sure)

Justin Smith & Moses Brown so far less than 2 weeks away isn't encouraging, but usually the last week up till is when some recruits throw the hat in the ring for it. I think we will have a range of 4-6 younger kids, I'd be very happy to see Louis & Romeo from '18, which is possible. I see Wilkes coming as well if he's planning on coming here so his name on that list could be HUGE. I also think they find a way to get Scruggs as a last pitch effort and he probably does it just to hang out w Wilkes. I could see Diallo or Preston or maybe even Bamba as well. I sure hope at least 1 5 star or high end 4 star comes regardless of class just so it doesn't end up making us look like no one wanted to come.

If I remember correctly it was the other way around. He seemed to want to be at IU but for whatever reason didn't.

Beejay wanted to come but he had a " Guardian Uncle Type" who wanted him at Georgetown . I'm sure looking back he wished he'd been able to see what Indiana could've done for him . [ Sorta  like Marvin Clarke , GoodLuck and some other notables ].
