rcbowla Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 A colts loss. That was bad. That Pittman drop at the end might not of mattered but it made me think of this thread. Sent from my iPad using BtownBannersA "#1" in my book does not come up small when it matters. He was catching that near midfield with a chance to get into Wash territory with a TO left......that's not coming through when it matters. He made some good plays at other times in his defense but those are THE moments.Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I told my Colts friends they wouldn't be good... They felt otherwise.. wasted money in the wrong area... They needed an OLine and WRs. Instead got Matt Ryan. rcbowla, WayneFleekHoosier and kreigh8 3 Quote
rcbowla Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I thought Ehlinger looked OK but I didn't see anything that makes me think he has a much higher ceiling. Time to tank, then semi tank again to get Harrison Jr to pair with our new young QB that we draft in '23. Reich needs to a) give up play calling rest of year and b) get fired at season's end. Ballard should go as well. I think he's done pretty decent in draft but he also overpaid an OL that is absolutely terrible and has failed to get the most important position settled. Just frustrating watching this team.Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk WayneFleekHoosier, craigyv88 and OliviaPope40 3 Quote

Lots of people talking about this being his "Burrow" year. I really really want to avoid Levis. Dude just screams Daniel Jones game manager to me. Quote

I personally am fine with it if the rebuild is quick, like 2 years, but if not then idk. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk kreigh8 1 Quote

We were in field goal range on both. Don't need that Pittman catch if they don't fumble Josh 1 Quote

Just of the belief it's a bit easier to attract talent around the ball when you can score some points like when Wilson was here. Not the only reason of course, but Wilson put far more OL into the NFL than Allen has Quote

Know this isn't the thread, but isn't that honestly the type of candidate that IU has to look for? They either have to look for flameouts (Rhule, Kingsberry?) or the hottest up-and-coming coordinator, wouldn't you think? Edit: Just hearing Herbstreit talk about how different Tennessee is with how wide they stretch the field is what made me envious, really nothing more. Ultimately takes a strong armed QB to pull that off, which would probably hold IU back from pulling that off if I'm honest with myself Hovadipo 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Richardson is intriguing. The lack of elite results are concerning though Quote

KingPG21 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I know we have one day left. But I hope we sell hard. We need more draft capital. I don't think we've had more tban normal draft capital since the Nelson pick year. Certainly not extra high draft picks. For a guy who builds through the draft like Ballard does its weird that we have lacked high end draft capital the last few years Quote
