LamarCheeks Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 I think Matt Campbell and Iowa State have been drinking from our LEO cup! Quote
LamarCheeks Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Boy, Mrs. Saban was a happy camper yesterday. Nick almost seems to be thinking, "Calm down, honey. We were very, very lucky to win a game we should've won by three touchdowns. I got some as-es to chew out." Quote
DChoosier Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Happy for Mrs Saban but man I wanted Bama out of the playoff picture. Almost lost to 6-5 Auburn with a severely hobbled 2nd string QB but they will still get the love from many pollsters. HoosierDYT 1 Quote
Alford Bailey Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Throw out the records in a rivalry like Auburn-Alabama. Let’s not forget Auburn ain’t IU they have SEC talent. Quote
MemphisHoosier Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Napier to Florida, I am not sure if there will be any ramifications for CTA and IU e.g coaching staff, recruitment, etc. here, but I doubt it on the surface. Quote
MemphisHoosier Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Looks like Lincoln Riley is headed to USC - curious how the Oklahoma fanbase will take the news... Quote
Hovadipo Posted November 28, 2021 Author Posted November 28, 2021 Lincoln Riley to USC. Huge, smart move for him and SC. Oklahoma could be in serious trouble depending on how the next couple weeks play out. Quote

OU's headed to the SEC -- which is much, much tougher than the Big 12 or the Pac-12. I have no doubt they'll expand the CFP soon, but still -- the SEC is loaded. Plus, it's Los Angeles ... That would, I think, be slightly more appealing than Norman, Oklahoma. Quote

Oklahoma is a mediocre hire here away from becoming Nebraska. They may knock it out of the park though, who knows. Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Funny to see because just a few hours ago I saw his quote about not leaving for the LSU job.. He wasn’t lying! Quote

Demo Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Hysterical the number people on Twitter suggesting Riley is “afraid” of coaching in the SEC. Tell me you’ve never met an elite Coach without saying you’ve never met an elite Coach. Quote
Demo Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 By “league sources” I’m going with “Kingsbury’s agent.” Quote
Hovadipo Posted November 28, 2021 Author Posted November 28, 2021 The OU rumor mill is already nuts. Kingsbury (no chance) has been tossed around by Schefter, people reporting there’s mutual interest with Sonny Dykes who gets introduced at TCU Tuesday (I think I choose this chaos scenario), some people want Josh Huepel (ok actually give me this one to watch the state of Tennessee just make football illegal). Alford Bailey Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 I don’t know Riley could win championships at LSU. PAC 12 not so much. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 OSU can reel 'em in -- which means even as third string, he's probably better than anything we've got. He's likely blocked from any decent PT for at least the next year by Stroud. I'm guessing he has somewhat of an idea where he's going. He's from Arizona, so he may want to play on the West Coast. Doubt we have any shot, but stranger things have happened ... Quote
