Sucks watching Purdue have the season we all thought we’d have.

There's really no excuse for us to be having the season we are having. It's a tremendously wasted opportunity. Needs to be some serious program evaluation in the off season.

Dan Mullen fired his DC and OL coaches today. Trying to save his job. Not sure it'll work. Florida boosters and athletic administration should be all over him after that horrific loss to South Carolina. He also said a "damning" thing in his press conference today. Said he wants his teams to be better at the end of the season compared to the beginning of the season. Well, I think he's failed in that regard.

Not sure if this is true or not, but I've seen more than one report about it. I still don't understand all the Mel Tucker love. He's college football's equivalent of Dexy's Midnight Runners (Come on Eileen) -- a one-hit wonder.

He somehow got hired in East Lansing after one season at Colorado -- and he was 5-7 there. Sparty was bad last year and while having a good run this season, they barely beat Michigan, needed OT to beat Nebraska and we'd have beaten them if not for our pathetically inept offense. Now, he's apparently in line to get huge dollars from MSU -- after being mentioned as a top candidate at LSU.

I'm a Bears fan, and he was the DC in Chicago for two seasons a few years back -- and that defense was historically awful.

To each his own and far be it from me to tell MSU how to spend its money -- but I'd sure as hell think about tamping the brakes on the Mel Tucker train. I just don't get it.

Have at it Sparty.  One good season gets you career money.

If you think IU has given up, Florida is down 42-28 to Samford. That's Samford, not Stanford.

But they were 1 of those almost impossible to get, all-powerful, selection committee-approved SEC conference wins for Bama. So, they must be really good.

There’s a really solid handful of schools hoping Florida doesn’t fire Mullen. That’d reallllly complicate an already insane carousel.

Florida ends up beating Samford 70-52.

The 52 points that Samford scored ties the record for the number of points given up to a non-FBS team.  Samford was with 56-52 with 12 minutes left.
