Has the Jeff Brohm honeymoon finally ended? Nebraska is not a good team, and Purdue is honestly lucky to even be 3-5 right now.

 

That game might have also been the only time I've ever seen pass interference called on a fake punt attempt. Glad it didn't affect the outcome because it was clearly the wrong call.

I don't either. We'll have at least 2 or 3 dumb plays that directly cost us. Plus Purdue has been getting a lot of lucky breaks this year and I expect they'll get a few in our game.

Well, you've had an opponent fumble inside the 5 yard line three times. I can't remember any team ever doing that against us, yet you've benefitted from it three times in just over half a season. You got bailed out on a fake punt that didn't work with a pass interference call (ever seen that? me neither). Michigan lost their QB to a scary injury and had to deal with that adversity. Your defense was gassed against Minnesota and got a lengthy lightning delay to regroup. You had an opponent commit 9 false starts. There are probably more; but I don't feel like reading Purdue boards all day to find any.

He isn't doing anything wrong. He doesn't agitate (intentionally).

It was a fair question and a great response by wat.

Honestly I have watched Purdue and Indiana play football and if I had to bet 5 bucks, unfortunately I would have to probably bet it on Purdue this year. IU just seems to never learn it's lessons
