His sitting out a year might be a type of suspension from both leagues.  You wonder if he might try the CFL or pick up his lawsuit again.

They are making an example of him.  He’s good enough everyone is paying attention but not good enough anybody is willing to be the one to get blasted giving him a chance.  Terrible position to be in

You’ve really got to peruse this. Haven’t been in Bloomington in something like 15 years so maybe things have really, really changed, but scoring IU’s “campus lifestyle” comparatively lower than IUFB’s  “program tradition” seems more than a little nuts.
