Lebowski Posted yesterday at 02:20 PM Posted yesterday at 02:20 PM ESPN has been negatively talking a lot about a 24-team CFP. I'm not buying what they're selling. Stuhoo 1 Quote

AZ Hoosier Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago The whole Sorsby thing is a farce... he's admitted to betting on his team (IU) and wants no consequences for breaking the rules? Another example of how bad the NCAA, and some entitled athletes really are. cybergates 1 Quote

Not all have integrity, but the ones who do put their professional responsibilities before their personal interests. This judge is a TTech alum for both undergrad and law school. His integrity will be tested. I can tell you with zero hesitation that if I was the judge for Sorsby and Cig had signed him to be the starting QB at IU, my IU fandom would have zero impact on the decision. And I truly mean that. skhoosier2 and Home Jersey 2 Quote

Yea. This will be a test. I'm no lawyer, but the "asking for one more year of eligibility" cases we usually follow seem much more up for interpretation given how the NCAA applies subjective judgements themselves. That plus other anti-trust laws and it sort of comes down to should we allow this kid to make the big money the school wants to pay him? Usually it's yes. Gambling on your team is different. It's been much more cut and dry historically across college and pro sports. We shall see... Stuhoo and Home Jersey 2 Quote
