How on earth did he offset those losses in 2022 betting on the Hoosiers to win? 

This not being an immediate ban from the sport is quite interesting to me. Suppose that's the result of things not being a professional league.

Yep. If you bet on the sport you play? Insta ban. I would think even the NCAA could win that one in court.

I wonder if (and expect) that his NIL deals have a termination with cause provision. And that means that TTech is likely to be without a quarterback, but their money will be refunded.

I think that's likely.  Not surprisingly, it sounds like there are Loss of Eligibility/Good Standing provisions in NIL deals.

Not sure if there are claw backs, but at the least if he is declared ineligible at that point no more payments are owed.

And on the rev share part of his contract, it's even more likely he's toast there.

And the last complication for Brendan -- Cincy is suing him for a $1M buyout he hasn't paid them related to his transfer to TTU.

What a mess.

Many many online clammoring for IU to have some sort of punishment for Sorsby as well.  If you had no knowledge of it in 2022 and he wasn't playing, what could IUFB be liable for?  Coach and player both gone.

That said, I don’t know the answer to your question.  Hammering IU for something so innocuous seems unlikely.

Oh for sure.  Just wasn't sure if they could leverage anything against us now aside from vacating those 4 wins from 2022.
