In 22 minutes tonight, Troy scored 15 points on 6/9 shooting in a Memphis loss. Added 3 rebs, 1 ast, and 0 TO's!! Making a good case to make that team.

Not trying to take away from Troy's overall performance but he did pick up 4 fouls for his 22 minutes of court time.  He's a rookie so clearly he won't get the benefit of the whistle so he'll have to learn to play smarter.

In preseason action the Grizzlies pounded the 76ers 121-91.  Troy with an impressive night --  27 min.; 22 pts. on 8-13 FG's; 2-3 on 3's; 4-6 FT's; 7 reb; 1 asst; 2 stls; 1 TO; team was +16 while he was on the court.  And unlike the last game where he picked up 4 fouls in 22 minutes, tonight he didn't have a single foul.  Making a strong case to make the opening day roster.  Next preseason game is Thursday at Oklahoma City against Vic and the Thunder.

I think the most impressive stat is his 27 minutes off the bench, which was actually the most minutes played on the team.

Btw- don't know what to make of it but, the Commercial Appeal in Memphis seems to give TW "begrudgingly little ink". I think he deserves better.... My IU bias I suppose??

Grizzlies knock off the Thunder 110-94.  Troy played 25 min.; scored 6 pts. on 1-4 FG's; no 3's; 4-5 FT's; 2 reb; 1 stl; 2 TO's and 1 PF.  Team was +4 while he was on the floor.  Meanwhile that other guy from IU had 5 pts. in 17 min. of action on 1-6 FG's 0-2 3's; 3-3 FT's; 1 reb; 2 asst; 1 blk; 5 TO's and 2 PF. 

Next game for Troy and the Grizzlies is Saturday night at Houston.
