Bryan Medema Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Alright folks, 2-3 games left across the board and the B1G tourney is crystallizing. IU is notoriously terrible in this tourney, but maybe it's just the match ups? So the question is: Who do you want to see IU play the most/least in the B1G tourney? Try and keep it realistic using this http://bball.notnothing.net/big10.php?sport=mbb Courtesy of Hova. I want to desperately avoid MSU and UW (pre-final) but I think only 1 (likely) scenario allows for that. I'd love to play Purdue again or even Maryland. ALASKA HOOSIER and HoosierAloha 2 Quote
Feathery Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Id like to avoid Wisconsin bc of style of play. I'd like to see MSU again. I think Crean pissed down his leg during that game and I'd like to see a rematch in a nuetral court for the Big Ten Tournament Championship. southsidehoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
FortWayneHoosier Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I rather them just not really try because its not worth an injury, it would be nice for them to get a rest to prepare for the tournament...imho ALASKA HOOSIER and MartintheMopMan 2 Quote
Chips&Dipo Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 ANYBODY BUT MSU AND WISKY FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote
chitown hoosier Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 On the flip side, if IU does play both Wisc and MSU and pulls off the wins to win both regular season and tournament b1g then they will be at worst a 2 seed. At this point and how this team is playing, I say bring it on. Indiana will basically be having home court advantage up in Indy. southsidehoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
Trish Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Any team but Iowa, Wisky, Purdue, MSU or Maryland works with me. Of course that won't happen and we will most likely play Wisky somehow someway. We are simply cursed to win the tourney. Of course I would love to win it, but I agree with the the guy above. Rest wouldn't be a bad thing. Of course if we somehow win if, I don't see why we couldn't me a 2 or even 1 seed. Fulkme15 and Alford Bailey 2 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I would rather play Wiscy than MSU, but we are playing one of them for almost certain I think if we don't drop the next two. We will end up the 1 seed in that case and they are both vying for the 4 seed. So, unless they are knocked off by whomever plays them on Friday (or we are) we will see them on Saturday. Also, I thought 2016 was DC's year to host the BTT? What ever happened to that? Quote
HoosierCoop Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 It would be nice NOT to play Wisconsin for once in the BTT. They have consistently been our out. Everyone else I am good with! Quote

colonel06 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 There are a lot of challenges in the top5-6 teams. Big factors I think will be how hungry are the Hoosiers and remaining fresh throughout. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Ah, so I got 2016 right, just had it on the wrong side of the hyphen. And I'll be bringing a whole crew to stay with my mother, whoop whoop! The friend who lives in Chicago is still in too small of an apartment to host us this year, so we all have Houston blocked out instead. Plus, going to watch Indiana in the BTT is always a disappointment. Quote
biteoftheapple Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Why stay in Chicago, when the BTT is in Indy? MartintheMopMan and Chips&Dipo 2 Quote

X-Hoosier Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 They are. But they also count so much because of the dollar value. yea.. I think they could be moved. Like right before conference play starts. Before the New Year. Then the auto bid for conference goes to the team that put in the work over 18 games and not 3. Like the Ivy League. Quote
biteoftheapple Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Think as you will, but it will not change. They are entrenched within the system. Quote
