I've said Vandy all along and if I'm wrong ill gladly eat crow.  I did say many times that the announcement location was what should be paid attention to.  He's not saying no Garland and Shittu at the McDonald's game.  But if it's at NA it has to be IU.

I too hope this announcement date puts to bed the idea that he was reluctant to commit from fear of getting boo’s while playing. The venues in the post-season games are in Oregon, New York, and Atlanta. Say the kid decides on Vandy tonight. Are any of you going to follow the dude to Oregon to boo him? I can only speak for myself here, but it’s a no from me.

Still has semifinals and finals of state and plenty more school left before he’d depart. Argument can still be made that he’s delaying the inevitable “bad” decision to leave the state to minimize flak. Would make some sense to me.

Or he is waiting out comings and goings of rosters to make final decision. Also makes plenty of sense.

Yep this is where I have been for a while. I haven’t seen anything to suggest otherwise. It’s also why Kansas has scared me more than Vandy.

So why not commit after State then? And flak at school? To that I’d say, he is 6’6 200 LBS and athletic. Also appears to be beloved as a God on Earth at NA. I doubt he’s taking any flak at school after committing anywhere.

I've thought the same thing. Though some guys could declare without an agent so he won't know on some guys maybe.

Yep. If it was me, I’d like to know if Morgan is coming back, tbh. That would make IU a much stronger team next year with RL.

It might be but self has proven he still cant do much in march. He got awfully lucky when he won it. If I recall Memphis missed a ton of free throws to seal it. And it always seems Kansas is playing about 50 miles from campus in the tourney.

Kansas city for the conference tourney every year. Whitchta for the tourney. The point is they always seem to have basically a home court advantage.

Romeo is not a package deal with anyone. There was some big time info revealed in Peegs chat tonight but I can’t disclose it. 
Positives for IU with one person posting some bad info, which I don’t know how much stock to put in.

Why can’t you disclose it?
