KU isn't very optimistic of their chances here. No buzz all weekend over his visit. Still seemed more occupied with Grimes by looking at ALL of their boards. I have went to every single one and hardly anything at all about Romeo. Grimes has multiple threads lol. They even started a thread asking Eric Bossi how good IU can be with Garland and Romeo. I would be absolutely shocked if he didn't end up at IU. UNC has a little chatter going, kinda sounds like they are firmly in 2nd place.

Kansas is meeting with guard Quentin Grimes today, per his coach. Marquette & Texas will meet with him this week. UK was in Wednesday.

Reported that earlier. They are in panic mode. Romeo left very early. They want Grimes. Have no clue why they aren't at least putting more effort into Romeo even if he is all but ours.

I found one Twitter handle that is solely devoted to Romeo playing for Kansas. Not an insider, just a fan page.... Complete with 28 followers lol. Seems to be the only one high on Romeo over there lol.

Meant it as no Romeo and now Grimes and UK has picked up some steam. KU ppl were saying he had actually committed to UK on Friday but obviously it didnt happen. Herro is a pretty good 3rd option lol so they will be fine but after thinking Grimes was KU's to UK's in a day it definitely threw them off.

Key word should of been some KU fans said that just like on all boards you have your negative and positive posters. From the ones I’ve talked to on their premium boards they have said Grimes was going to commit early and with self and Howard visiting today they think a commitment is close to happening. Even though I know Romeo and Grimes have said they would play together if Grimes goes to Kansas hopefully when Tim and Romeo and family decide on a college that Grimes to KU will go in the negative column instead of positive

You're 100% right lol. If Grimes wasn't a 5 star I would say he could commit tonight but idk it's weird word got out today he was dedinitely signing early and then KU visits. Could go both ways though I guess. Whether confirming a commit or trying to stop one from UK. It is very odd with the whole UK thing. He was a sure thing for KU forever and then a home visit changes things that quick but not even an official$$$$$???? Just doesn't make sense. Maybe I am just praying UK or KU finally get caught haha. If Grimes goes, Romeo doesn't even think about KU. He wants to play on a good team but not one that has so much talent he is hardly talked about. That is what made Duke and UK fall out. Nationally IU wasn’t seen as a major player with Garland until our home visit with Garland and family which was considered a “home run” by national and local recruiting sites. After that IU just kept gaining momentum every day. Got to love recruiting and Romeo staying home

Matt Scott, the Kansas writer who picked Romeo to Kansas shortly after Jerry Meyer did, had now changed his pick to "foggy". Scott is the guy Jerry told someone on Twitter to follow for news on Romeo's visit. This would seem to support the idea Romeo has cooled on Kansas.
