Yeah I didn't think the fouls were egregious but the non travel calls were awful. Like you said they had 5 or 6 easy. Hell we had two off the top of my head that were questionable at best. One was Troy at the top of the key after he picked up his dribble. He pivoted. Then switched his pivot foot after a pivot right in front of the ref. I honestly have no idea what the refs were looking at last night.

If you get to see a replay watch off the ball while Iowa is on offense.  I didn't think it was that bad while watching live but after concentrating at the screens it is bad.  There were 3-4 plays Jok pushed off with two hands or a forearm that were obvious and the ref swallowed his whistle.  It felt like the refs were going to keep it close no matter how bad it looked.

Loved this game! Great team win. The only thing bothering me, (keeping me up nights really) is Troy Williams. He is killing this team with his bone headed plays. Yes, he made some big shots down the stretch but, would those have been as important if he had not blown our lead nearly on his own? Don't even mention the fact that many of his (big shots) are pure, out of control, unadulterated luck. I know many will disagree due to him lucking out now and again but, I just feel he is hurting this team badly. I love his potential but I often wish he played for someone else.

His layup percentage has plummeted from last year and earlier this year.  He has layups that aren't even close.  It's amazing to me that OG, in just under one year, is able to accomplish what Troy has been struggling to do for almost 3 years now.  OG is what I though Troy would be as a junior.

I totally agree! His defense is killing us. I watched him get beat off the dribble way too many times. His shots are out of control and he tries to get rebounds with one friggin' hand.

Gesell abused him several times with a few dribbles into a midrange jumper.  Troy's fundamentals, on offense and defense, are nonexistent.  Teams are starting to play to this and going at Troy when they need a bucket.  He also allows players to drive around him thinking he'll get the block at the rim.  Squirrel!

foul trouble.....

And they were playing well without him. Subbing TB in would be pretty similar to any of the general substitution complaints about Crean. When something is working and no one wants a rest, then don't touch it until you have to, I thought it was great move and it paid off in the end.

I just went to the loudest, most exciting, most incredible basketball game, in my LIFE! Honest to God. @IUBloomington beats Iowa? Hell YEAH!

He's been to the last two at home, so my roommate and I kind of watch him as the games go on. He gets REALLY into it. It's pretty awesome to see. He was freaking out more than ever when the firecrackers performed a couple weeks ago (and rightfully so).
