Too me the tough part about 2019 recruiting will be crowded roster and depth.

TJD has clearest path to playing time. But still has Race, Forrester, DD to think about.

Brooks plays the 3,4. Will have Smith, Hunter.

Watford is 2,3,4. Smith, Hunter, Damezi.

I think PG will be our biggest need again if we miss Garland.

I love these 3 guys but I'm hoping for a standout PG at some point. Not sure when Phinisee will be that guy.

Seems to me that he’s gonna start for the vast majority of his time at IU.

As much potential as Devonte has, I don’t believe he would start over Darius. I don’t see it

Just a heads up if you have followed the team through the offseason, the player with the gold jersey is the guy living up to the gold standard. Green has wore it quite a bit lately, with CuJo stealing it a few times. These 2 are getting overlooked by people so much. This is a new coaching staff, the rotations aren't gonna be based off what Crean did. 

Back on topic Brooks is wanting to commit before his senior year too, so these next 6 months he needs to be top priority. By tone of his voice when I asked about each school, MSU and IU stick out as we all have known, but wouldn't dismiss KU at all. He had a visitor the same day.

That 2016 class does have a lot of potential. Devonte, CuJo and Davis. They can really help this season and next

I'm not as worried as others are about our guards next year. Will be fun to see what Al can do if he gets to play against Indy.

Agree on Jones being improved. I’m glad he is mad that he hasn’t won it yet. When Brooks adds some weight in my opinion it is going to hard to keep him out of being a top 10 player in the class of 2019. I love watching him play

So much talent on the wing in the '19 class. Any wings/stretch 4 even you would take over him? Maybe Watford? I'll be honest haven't watched too much of him.

I’ve watched both Watford and Brooks and for me I would prioritize Brooks. He can do more things with the ball in his hands. Trendon really struggled in the games I watched him in Westfield. He also was playing with Vernon Carey and Balsa K (player 11) and just didn’t stand out as much. I know how talented he is and at the end of the day you can’t go wrong with either choice. I see no way both will be playing on the same team in college

Yeah no way we get both. One would be enough for me though. Love the player 11 reference hahahaha. That sounds like a tough frontcourt. Balsa aka player 11 could be special and Carey is obviously very good!! I have heard Watford needs to get stronger. Same with big bro. Brooks gets the nod for me, being in state. Him and TJD are my top 2 guys unless we get into good graces with Wiseman or Anthony. Lots can change by then though. Green could be our pg or RP or even Al and I wouldn't think Anthony would be a bigger need than a big or wing. This year will give us a better picture. Like you said last year, I dont see Jones caring about the gold jersey or anything similar and now he has made it a goal. I love hearing that. Ready to see our rotation with everyone healthy.

As long as IU gets one of Brooks and Watford, it’ll be a successful class. If it for some reason comes down to getting just one of them, I’d want Keion because he’s a nationally ranked in-state player. Have to protect this state
