In Wisconsin it is wrong. The state athletic association, has sent out lists of banned cheers that may "hurt" the opposing team's feelings. :)

Wisconsin will also do away with the tournament system and handout participation trophies at the end of the season.

You probably are not that far off.  The good thing is that most people are really coming down hard on the WIAA  for being silly.

Albers is just an attention w.h.o.r.e. That is all this is about.

He tweets out just ahead of when recruits announce for IU - why? Because he is an attention w.h.o.r.e.

Probably too much time on the Jayboob as a child.

Woah, ouch, where did that come from? Lol

I take sadistic pleasure in hating on Albers.  I know it is more a reflection on me than the target of my ire, but with that being said, let's bring on the HATE.  :)

It isn't so much that he's a dope.  There are plenty of those out there.  It is that he's a pompous dope who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room.  Unfortunately for him, his arrogance is expressed in analysis that is about as coherent and insightful as Grandpa Simpson.

I subscribed last year just to get Hutch's articles and was gobsmacked by the quantity of asininity that came from his finger tips.  It got even more awkward when Terry introduced post-game wrap-up videos.  I actually felt sorry for the guy.  I can't remember her name, but there was a young female writer on there and she was mopping the floor with Albers in the insight dept.

He gets blasted not just on Twitter, but on the Scout Boards as well.  The ban hammer used to come down quickly there, but Albers's propensity to say stupid things is so frequent, they can't click fast enough.  Now, it is slim pickins around there and they would kick the 12 remaining subscribers off that site.

I think he's convinced himself that these "out of staters" are the ones that giving him hell.  If he even had an ounce of self-reflection, he'd take the info people are giving him and just get better as a writer and columnist.  Instead, he's going full-Bayless.

Hope this does not offend anyone, but here is what comes to mind when I hear full-Bayless.

Maybe some of the fans were also sycamore fans and were booing him because he decommitted from an Indiana school to play for a Illinois school.

Wouldn't surprise me.  I wasn't there, so it wasn't me, but, man, kids nowadays need to get thicker skin.

I was watching Rojo very carefully after hearing about the groin injury. It adds up. His burst isn't there, he keeps his legs under his body. Still super valuable to our success, but watch him tonight considering the groin injury postulate.

Man, almost want him to just sit out and fully recover. He's a four year guy, and it would be so incredibly costly over the next few years to lose him to an injury like this.
