Yogi'sBicep Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Right now, who do you think are the top 4 teams in the B1G based on how they're playing right now & who do you think will be top 4 at the end of Conference play? Go! Quote
southsidehoosier Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 IU Iowa Maryland PUke Now and at the end of the year. They've separated themselves from the pack. Quote

HoosierAloha Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Iowa IU Maryland Michigan Iowa Maryland IU pu I still don't think Maryland is a great team but they find a way to squeak it out against bad to decent teams. Michigan has been playing good ball and that road win at Nebraska was big for them. Quote
Yogi'sBicep Posted January 23, 2016 Author Posted January 23, 2016 I'll say right now IU Iowa Michigan PU End of year IU Iowa Purdue Michigan I'm not a believer in MD They play at MSU, Iowa, at OSU, Nebraska, then PU. Tough stretch. Then last 3/4 Mich, at PU, and at IU 8 tough ones for Maryland all in a stretch. I know we have a tough schedule but my gosh they can lose one and snowball to 4-5 losses. IU has tough stretch of Iowa, at MSU, Nebraska, PU. But 3 of those being at home. Also play Maryland at home. I can see us dropping at MSU, but when we play at Iowa I think we steal it. Purdue has Nebraska, @ MD, @Mich St, @ Mich. Northwestern, @ IU, MD, @Nebraska. That's tough!! Iowa has it the easiest. Purdue, MD. Indiana only real tough one in mid Feb. Finish @ OSU, IU, @Mich. waitingon6 1 Quote

Nobody here is gushing about Maryland beating some really bad teams, like they are with IU. Quote

cjvz20 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Well Iu is beating bad teams by 30 Maryland not so much. So u have to put Iu first even if everyone is saying we are playing bad teams but so is Maryland Quote
HoosiersLoveBanners Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 1. Iowa - they have the most impressive victories so far 2. Indiana- strong play so far in conference, undefeated 3. Maryland- super talented. enough said 4. Purdue- a couple tough Ls but still very formidable Quote

I believe PSU took them down to the last minute. It took Melo a long 3 to win against Wiscy. I would take that win at Wiscy any day of the week though. I think they blew out O$U and Rutgers though. HoosierAloha Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I think I would actually put Michigan in at 4 right now over pu. They have a better win (vs. Maryland) and not as bad of a loss (@Ill). Their best road victories are about equal too, UM@Nebrasketball and pu @Wiscy. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 1. Iowa - Best wins so far, although I don't think its a clear cut lead2 2. Indiana - Dominant play not against strongest competition but they have blown out the opponents at home and won close games on the road. What more can you ask 3. Maryland - Weak schedule like IU, but they have won games. Still not sold on them. 4. Michigan - Had some struggles but they have won games when they needed too. maxwell 1 Quote
Jketch Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I can understand why Mark Turgeon was on the hot seat. On paper they should be at the top but I've got: IU Iowa Maryland Mich St Quote

BGleas Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Right now Iowa Indiana Maryland Purdue End of season: Mich St. (No, I don't think they'll win the conference, too big a hole, but I think they'll be the best team if healthy) Maryland Iowa Indiana Quote
