Perhaps the reason that he sounded that way is because it is a team game and the team is under performing, even when beating down cupcakes, and if the team is under performing, then no one deserves individual accolades, even if those accolades are warranted.

Sorry- can't quote at work, lol.  Not directed at your post, coonhounds!  It's incredibly annoying to go into a thread that should be "Congrats!" or "Glad it was an IU PLAYER".  But instead, it all turns into a misery fest.  Trying to be preemptive here and stop any trolling before it gets too bad.

Congrats Troy, that 19 rebound game was impressive. There's no doubt when Troy is on he's one of the best in the country. I would like to see him step up on defense, cut down the TOs and win this award every week. If he does that it puts IU in a better position to win games.
