From 247 Sports:

Just a day after Indiana lost Jordan Howard to the NFL, the Hoosiers earned a commitment from another physical, punishing runner.

Euless (Texas) Trinity running back Tyler Natee committed to Indiana on Tuesday night, giving the Hoosiers a big-bodied and physical running back.

“I love coach (Kevin) Wilson and what he does for Indiana,” Natee told Inside Indiana after his commitment Tuesday.

The 5-foot-11, 258-pound Natee took his official visit to Indiana on Dec. 11, and immediately named the Hoosiers as his leader. It didn't take long for Natee — who was also considering Arkansas State, Baylor and others — to commit to Indiana.

Natee sees himself "as a big bruiser helping get short yardage and help expand the offense in any way," he said after committing Tuesday.

Natee’s commitment comes after Howard, Indiana’s First Team All-Big Ten running back, announced his intention to declare for the NFL Draft on Monday. It also comes after Auburn (Alabama) running back Tyus Flakes decommitted from Indiana. The Hoosiers now have two running backs committed to the 2016 class, as Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward’s running back Cole Gest is also in the fold. Natee is the

The academics of Indiana attract him as much as the football program, he said.

"It's a great team with massive potential but before that," Natee said after his official visit, "it offers a great business school. I love Kelly School of Business."

Love the signing. The kid is enormous and seems to have a lot of natural talent. Like Hoosier41 said, get him in a weight and conditioning program for a year and he'll be a man-child.

CKW's offense doesn't really have a FB/H-Back, and we don't throw to our RBs much, but with Howard leaving we have a huge need for a pile mover. I bet Tyler is a wrecking ball catching a screen pass as well. Great signing!

Also awesome to see Tyler so focused on academics and realize the opportunity and value of getting a Kelley degree. I wish I was able to realize that at 17/18!

If he does decide to play Running Back, he'll have to work hard in a crowded backfield for his snaps which should also improve him a lot and make the RB group as a whole stronger.
