DChoosier Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Another way to look at it is that Wilson has won 6 BT games in 5 1/2 years. He is averaging roughly 1 BT win per year which means he has "earned" about 1.3 mm per BT win making him, on a per win basis, probably one of the highest paid coaches in the country (the PU contract is, of course, a train wreck). MartintheMopMan Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 We pay our HC $1.3 million and our DC $357,000. How are we surprised they don't perform at a higher level? Penn State literally pays their coordinators more than we pay our HC. Brian Knorr could make more money slinging crack. Quote

Please address. http://www.indeed.com/salary?q1=crack+dealer&l1= It's all about the neighborhood. Though, you're probably right. Crack is small amounts for small amounts of money. He'd be better off selling cocaine to higher income individuals. Sell it an eight ball at a time to individuals or scout out groups for Os. It's what, around 70 bucks a gram? He has to move 5100 grams to match his salary. That's fewer than 1500 eight balls. Then it really is about the right neighborhoods, affluent areas of somewhere like Chicago, New York, LA, or even the right places in Seattle or San Fran or something like that. Could probably move it an O at a time, that's 8 eight balls. 182 Os, sell them primarily on Friday and Saturday nights. If he sold two a night he could beat his salary in revenue. In terms of profit, he'll never make it that way. So, he will need to sell to dealers. Depends on what he pays for pure and what he's cutting with to tell. Though, if he gets in the position where he can deal to dealers and has a pure hookup, he can make tons more money on crack. It's just low money on the front end. Stuhoo 1 Quote

Sure, but a defensive coordinator will also be paid more if he is planning blitz schemes and two deep coverages in Tribeca or Palm Beach. MartintheMopMan 1 Quote

If he hadn't already blown his chance at head coaching, I would say all he has to do is get literally any head coach job. What did he do between playing and coaching? Probably more money in that. Tribeca and Palm Beach are great places to move cocaine in weight during the right times of the year. Quote

Military hook-ups and college playing career to get in the door, the work ethic to succeed, 23 years in the field? Plus, 401k instead of a public pension. And he could sell cocaine to his underlings. JSHoosier Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 The school has plenty of money. They're not going to spend the kind of money it would take to pull a coach from the NFL. Not going to happen. Georgia pays their defensive coordinator more than we pay Wilson for crying out loud. We might be able to pull someone like Matt Campbell from Toledo since it'd be a significant raise for him, but we are not pulling a coach from the NFL because they won't spend the money it would take. Should they spend more for their football coaching staff? Yes. Will they? There's a better chance of Emma Watson calling me. Quote
