JaybobHoosier Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Really hope the Hoosiers come out like they did against OSU and get a victory against PSU. This is a game I feel we should win...... love saying that :) lucel15 and Naturalhoosier 2 Quote

Dalton26 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 It's just nice being able to watch IU games without having to use a stream. Crimson and Cream and JaybobHoosier 2 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 The game has been moved from ESPN2 to ESPN. After getting people's attention last week, we reall really need a statement win here. And Ohio State is playing on BTN. This feels like justice. southsidehoosier, Crimson and Cream, HoosierReb01 and 4 others 7 Quote
ThompsonHoosier Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 This team really gave it its all last week. Usually after a game like that a team comes out flat. This is what really worries me. Fortunately PSU is not an explosive team so they would not be able to really run up the score if it takes a quarter or two for IU to get going. I'm with you on this. We all remember what happened last year after the Missouri win. But I also think this team is different; they treat each game as just that, another game. Even without Sudfeld and Howard (which I hope they play) I think we have enough to win. The key is to pressure Hackenberg and don't allow him time to pick his receivers. It will also help if Barkley is inactive since he's their main offensive weapon. From what I've read, he's 85% and they might keep him out for next week against OSU. Naturalhoosier and mamasa 2 Quote

Hackenberg has been really harmed by the injuries in his OL, he has started to show the signs of breaking. He panics early and sees some phantom pressure, so shaking him up will really pay dividends. On the other hand, I feel bad. He is an NFL first or second round quality quarterback, and unless PSU gets a healthy line in front of him he's probably going to ruin his professional career. They don't expect to have either RB1 or RB2 playing, but they also have no idea because they don't get injury updates. But, they don't really need to use the ground against us, we're like the worst pass protectors. It's going to be either a great game or an absolutely horrible one like last year. It's tough to know which until we see who is walking onto the field, but man I hope we get this win. Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 The CrimsonCast today had a really nice preview of the game with the people from PSU's SB Nation. Tons of interesting stuff I didn't know before about PSU injuries and they apparently really want Kevin Wilson as Offensive Coordinator so they want to beat us so we fire him. Good talk about Tom Crean at the end too. If anyone has podcast suggestions, I'm open. CrimsonCast is the only one that seems to deal with Indiana Football. Quote
ThompsonHoosier Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Even though I don't like Franklin on Penn State, I thought this was pretty cool. Keegan-Michael Key makes a perfect impersonation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBLwchkCPzY Quote

MartintheMopMan Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Run defense is great, but him bearing down on Hackensack might be even more effective. I've said it before. Get a couple early sacks on Sackenberg and he will be too spooked the rest of the game to be a threat. Quote
Gahoosierfan Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Looks like IU didn't come to play today. No effort on either side of the ball. Very disappointing. Quote
JSHoosier Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 So...when does the game start? I'm tired of watching Penn State warm up. Quote
