TheWatShot Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Without SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT we will be looking for a new coach in a few months. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict we'll have a new football coach, new basketball coach and a new athletic director less than a year from now. 8bucks 1 Quote

HoosierReb01 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Oh and where was booth today?!.... I'm not sure, but at this point Booth may be well behind other receivers. Quote

benfaunce Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Oh and where was booth today?!.... Booth hasn't performed well enough to even be slotted on the depth chart IU Hoosier41 1 Quote
Popular Post Naturalhoosier Posted September 6, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2015 I refuse to pass judgment until next game. If no to minimal improvement in next week's game, then I'll jump on the bandwagon. Im impressed we pulled off the win actually. In years past it would have been a L. mdn82, Class of '66 Old Fart, rodmilbourn and 6 others 9 Quote
Crimson and Cream Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Well, I'll just say this; The IUFB I have come to know would have allowed that 2 point conversion. We didn't. We won. It was ugly on defense, but we won. Hopefully our 3 starters (and 2 key bench guys) being back will help from here on out on defense. Offense looked very good. It's a win guys, we aren't in a position to be complaining about a win. Good job Hoosiers, now on to the next one. Naturalhoosier, ThompsonHoosier, rodmilbourn and 1 other 4 Quote

8bucks Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I think being disappointed is very fair. Still hope for improvement but every year we have much the same HoosiersLoveBanners, mdn82 and J_Smiff 3 Quote

Don't exactly feel on top of the world about this win, but I've seen these scenarios before and they always seemed to end in the L column. This time they actually pulled it out, some of it was just luck. If they don't fix some things though, that L column is going to be well stocked. Naturalhoosier and indianato 2 Quote
HoosierReb01 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Better question, where was Hawkins? I just assumed he would be a starter. Guy hasn't played in two years, wouldn't be surprised if he took a bit longer to get up to speed. Quote
Crimson and Cream Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Guy hasn't played in two years, wouldn't be surprised if he took a bit longer to get up to speed. That's fair enough. I keep forgetting he never actually played haha. Very impressed with Jones today though, and Cobbs will be fine. Not a big fan of that little white guy (can't remember his name) though. Quote

Crimson and Cream Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Hurt missing those players on defense. I'll reserve my "disappointment in lack of improvement" judgement for after next weeks game, assuming those guys are all back. Offense looked real good again. Quote
Crimson and Cream Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Mitchell Paige? Yeah. Had a nifty return though. Quote
