Prilla the Thrilla Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Booth hasn't performed well enough to even be slotted on the depth chart Yeah he is buried on the depth chart, would need injuries to see significant snaps. Quote
drewheck Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Better question, where was Hawkins? I just assumed he would be a starter.they showed him in the sidelines a few times Quote

Miller'sTheMan Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Really impressed with Ricky Jones though, his after the catch ability was impressive Prilla the Thrilla, Naturalhoosier, Stuhoo and 2 others 5 Quote
HoosiersLoveBanners Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 If we give up 47 to SIU, you can all but guarantee no bowl game. If we can't stop them from running up 600+ yards, who will we stop? Everyone can enjoy the win but the forecast looks more of the same from this view. IU Hoosier41 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I refuse to pass judgment until next game. If no to minimal improvement in next week's game, then I'll jump on the bandwagon. Im impressed we pulled off the win actually. In years past it would have been a L. One drop from an L. That was lucky. This game has Indiana football written ALL OVER IT. The moment we decided to score with 58 seconds left, I knew we were doomed for the same thing that always happens to IU. This time, we got lucky they dropped the 2 point conversion. The way that game played out, it makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO sense not waste time on first and second down. On third down run it up the gut and try to score, call time out if we don't get in and kick an extra point for the win. We did exactly what they wanted us to do... jmsgws Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 The Defense played well for one quarter. That has to get better. Glad we got a win, but it was ugly. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Seriously? All the talk and focus on how this defense MUST improve and you give up 47 to SIU? Laughable! Any coach or player involved with this defense should be totally embarrassed. HoosiersLoveBanners, 8bucks and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

Would love to see a breakdown of the stats by 1/2. I felt the defense played much better the 2nd half, but got complacent again in the 4th. HoosierReb01 1 Quote

Miller'sTheMan Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Scales, Latham, and Dutra coming back will help the defense. Again it's too early to panic, wasn't it Nebraska last year who needed a last second miracle play to beat a FCS school? I think most here would be satisfied if we turned out to be as good as Nebraska lol. We have to improve though. Bobman1, Crimson and Cream, jmsgws and 3 others 6 Quote

I felt the defense played much better the 2nd half, but got complacent again in the 4th. They ended with 659 yards, and had about 393 or something in the first half. 1 turnover each half. I mean slightly better but still come on.The QB had over 500 by himself. 8bucks 1 Quote
