I wasn't even aware he committed somewhere else. I've been so out of it

He is at a community college in Odessa. Not going to happen, but what is the ruling when a kid goes to a JUCO, do they have to sit out? Theoretically, could a kid leave a team, enroll at a juco and then rejoin the team in the same year?

I would think he could go to a d1 team immediately, if he wanted.

Just means they aren't prosecuting. They're free to charge him later. Possibly a diversion program, I can't remember if that's how they appear in Indiana.

Thanks for the clarification
