Uspshoosier Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Grant has 2 at half. The kid named Sasha is crown point best player todaylooks like Sasha is still there best player. Sasha was defiantly the best player on the floor when I watched them at southport WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Sasha was defiantly the best player on the floor when I watched them at southportsacha took and hit the game tying shot. I think you mentioned Sacha took the end of game shots in the game you watched. Gelon reminds me of a Hartman in terms of HS impact. Hartman was always second to Jalen Coleman-Lands(do I have the right name?). Stats were generally unimpressive. Hartman is a solid role player for us, Gelon still can be that Roth/Ziesloft type. I get it in that sense. colonel06 1 Quote

I wouldn't say that Hartman was always 2nd to Coleman( he added lands to his name to honor someone). I watched Coleman struggle against Ben Davis his freshman year while Hartman kept them in the game and hit some big shots at the end of the game WayneFleekHoosier and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote
Str8Hoosiers Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 How much has to do with teams doubling Gelon? Denying him the ball at all costs? Subsequently giving Sasha easy opportunities? Quote

HoosierHoops1 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I remember this kid named Alonzo Mourning, that was held to 4 points in a game his senior year. Quote

Subsequently giving Sasha easy opportunities?i would say every top prospect gets doubled and sometimes tripled team and kids manage to find a way to get their points but maybe he hasn't seen that before and will learn to adjust to being doubled. I look forward to watching him again later in the year to see him have a better game then he had WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
Uspshoosier Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 yeah, I was thinking more of Hartmans Senior year, I suppose and Jr. Year too.that game against Ben Davis might of been hartmans senior year and colemans sophomore year. Hell ive watched too many games since then to know for sure I will have to check. Forgive my memory lapse WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

On the other hand if you have a good second option why force it... Smart team ball to not force WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Smart team ball to not forceromeo is a special talent, I watched him at the southport tournament against pike drop 30 and pike tried to bring multiple defenders at him anytime he touched it. He shredded their defense at times. Quote
