akhosrof Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Going to be a crazy period leading up to signing day. We may lose a guy or two, but with all the coaching changes I am sure we will flip some real good recruits and come out ahead. Quote
ThompsonHoosier Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I hated Bielema when he was at Wisconsin and I hate him now. Guy is such a d.o.u.c.h.e. just remembering how he would run up the score against us makes me mad! JaybobHoosier and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I don't blame him for running it up. If you don't want it done to you then figure out how to stop it. Crimson and Cream and Naturalhoosier 2 Quote

lilly Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 You can never count on these early commitments and they shouldn't even matter. Always looking for the next best offer. None of them are safe! Why even accept them that early? Quote

None of them are safe! Why even accept them that early? Actually CKW and staff have a pretty good record of retaining commitments. We flip more than we lose. Either way, you end up recruiting players right up until signing day. For the most part, this staff doesn't accept too many early commits. On the other hand, there are some players who want to make a decision before their senior season and if you refuse to accept them, you may be taking yourself right out of their recruitment. If he's high enough on your list, you accept and go from there. Not all of them are looking for better offers. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote

Naturalhoosier Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 The flip side, decommits mean that we are gaining momentum in the recruiting world. We are after higher caliber players that others want to flirt with. That's my macro-level silver-lining. HoosierReb01, Bobman1 and akhosrof 3 Quote
