No one seems to know (or at least be talking). From last season, he has a lot of issues to work out before he'll play in the NBA (IMO). I hear Kentucky has a lot of openings.

Heard the draft advisory board had 2 teams list him as a first round pick and 17 more list him as a second round pick. The rest had him Undrafted. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I feel more confident in Yogi returning than I do Blackmon.

Transfer and sit out a year? I don't know if a kid would do that even if he doesn't like Crean very much. I also don't think he will be a 1st round draft pick. If he leaves, I will be very confused.

It's hard to see how Blackmon would ranked above 19 of these players, given his 2014-15 performance. And these are just the underclassmen declaring - it doesn't take into account seniors (Kaminsky, et al).

I don't see anything in JBJ right now that would even lead me to want him in the third round (if there was one) of the NBA draft. Even his shooting, which is his strength, was really streaky this season.

uhhh really? There is no way he is gone......to me he wasnt what he was supposed to be....kid was a straight ghost on defense....his shooting was really poor at times.....and just seemed uninterested

I hate all the drama. Yogi and Blackmon have no business even making an announcement about a "decision". Blackmon will never play a minute in the NBA if he declares for the draft right now.

I get that he wants what's in his best interest... I enjoy watching him/having him on our team.

But now I'd honestly rather have a player who wants to win a championship/wants to be a part of the team first.

The teams that don't see him as being drafted must have noticed his production away from AH.  If you look at potential, if he played on the road like he did at home, he would be a lock for a 1st round pick.

 

I am sure there would be a team that might think they could pick him up late and get a bargain compared to where he would go next year.  That would be good for the team, bad for JBJ. It could cost him a lot of money in the long run to come out too soon.
