Really simple question- Under the assumption we make the tournament, would you rather we go straight to the group of 64 or have have to play in one of the play-in games?

Oddly enough, I'd like to see this team play in a play-in game. I think the the momentum would serve us well going into the actually field of 64. Plus, if it means bonus basketball, so be it. What're your thoughts?

Note- Not a forum for debating IF we'll get in, just the merits (selfish or basketball related) of your preference.

For this team, a Tuesday game would be good. Team can have light practices, rest today and tomorrow and then travel on Monday to Dayton. Keeps the team focused on playing.

I understand the money aspect and so forth, but I think the play-in games should be all for the 16th seeds.  This gives the 16 seeds a legitimate shot at winning 1 game in the tourney before having to play the 1 seed.  And since these would realistically all be automatic bids anyways it wouldn't hurt the overall field, just help it.

I agree with the concept, but the NCAA does not.
