Not true. Pretty much every town square in every major city in the US had a huge watch party for the US games in this World Cup. If we were in the final everyone would be tuned in.

Yeah. But they wouldn't party for a week, they didn't even understand what they were watching. Bloomington a week after a championship would be a better party bet than any major city 2 days after a World Cup championship.

I don't know why I'm even arguing about soccer, I have been to World Cup games and played for decades and I still don't care.

Natty, it's all good. I was thinking of Sloan who had about the same amount of talent as Kline except a better coach. Just think, we've been besties since you gave me a warning point when I said McGary would have fit in well with last year's team after getting popped by the NCAA. Since then, he has become a millionaire and our same players keep getting busted by the university for the same ole puffing. Right out of your playbook though as a mod who promotes it.
