Can you make NCAA with only 2 road wins?

Reading through this thread it is apparent that a lot of posters are way to confident we make the tourney. I like our favorable schedule down the stretch but remember any team can beat us. I think there is a major chance we could lose two home games yet and a road game. If god for bid that happens do we still get in? If it comes down to winning a big ten tournament game I don't love our chances. I am not trying to troll or whatever u guys call it just wonder what you guys think. I know we have some good resume building games but I always felt the top 5 or 6 teams get in from the big may b less this year what happens if we finish below that?

to answer your question of what happens if we finish below the top 5 or 6 teams, if our overall resume is better then those teams that would finish better then us then the commitee would reward Iu with a bid. For example in 2012 when we won the big 10. Iowa finished 6th (9-9 in big play) and illinois finished tied for 7th(8-10 in big play) illinois made they tourney over Iowa (3 seed in nit). But if we lay an egg in these last 6 games and miss the tourney it won't be because we didn't play a true road game out of conference it would be because we couldn't win 4 games at home or 2 road games against teams with rpi over 100.

I dont care about the road game part. I agree that illinois got in over them but I doubt it is a guarantee they will do that every time. As for the rest of the schedule this team has went above and beyond the call of duty to prove to me they can lose a couple of these games left. I hope not

If we collapse and go 3-3 or 2-4 over these final 6 yes we will be directly on the bubble and will need a win in the B1G tourney but you can't deny we are in great shape heading into the easiest stretch we have in our conference schedule.  It is not like the optimism that we make the tourney is based on nothing.  This team has shown the ability to consistently beat teams at home and the only road games we have left are the two easiest ones on our schedule.

Look at the body of work this season.  It would be more out of character for this team to go 3-3 or 2-4 over the final 6 then to go 4-2.

theres more examples of of teams that have gotten in with worst conference records illinois isn't the only team to do it. Isn't our longest losing streak this year been 2? I would say that is going above and beyond the call of duty to prove to u that they won't lose most of these games. If for some reason we end up on the bubble I like our chances with 3 wins vs top 25 rpi and 8 vs top 100 I will be willing to bet not a lot of bubble teams would be able to say that

This team is fun to watch. They probabky have over achieved. But, going forward, I hope this years record can be the worst of our acievements. I want to have them contend in the B1G each year. I want a BTT title. FF and elite eights.
