Post Game Thread (Butler vs IU) Hoosiers Win

Recommended Posts

I HOPE WISCO LOSES SO HARD THAT THEY DISBAND THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM! UAB THAT ISH!

Love the use of UAB in the sentence.  How long until it is accepted by Websters?

..and if we are offering up other nominations, can we throw in Whiskey's football program as well?

We can shutter the whole university. Turn it into a hunting lodge.

Referring to him as 'Heartman' is perfect. He is an Indiana basketball player. He understands what his role is and will be a huge contributor because he accepts that role. And, we'll get to enjoy him for 2 more seasons.

Didn't watch the game but followed the thread. We're the refs that bad? I'm always biased against the refs when IU plays most of the comments sound like they need to lose their ref privileges. Thoughts?
This is a solid win for this team.

They were bad both ways

The butler board is complaining about them just as much as we are lol. That dunham foul that was called against Stan was absolute garbage.

As a side note, Stan is an above average defender at this point. I'm not ready to say fantastic like yogi is but Stan definitely can keep his man in front of him

Dunham is a great player, but I wouldn't want him simply for his incessant flopping. I'd have to watch it all the time and then have an element of pleasure when it worked. No Thanks!

If he were in the NBA he would have been fined for that but he isn't.

STILL wondering about Emmitt yesterday.

Hanner had a couple of ugly turnovers, but he was a real presence for us in the middle.  He stayed out of foul trouble and as long as he wasn't hurting us, I'm glad CTC kept him in the game.  And this is coming from a frequent Hanner critic.  Also note that our true freshmen didn't have their best games and just maybe this wasn't a game for Emmitt as well.

I agree with your Hanner analysis, but that's not what I'm saying. Emmitt didn't even give Hanner a quick blow after his short stint in the first half. I thought Hanner played a fantastic game.

Did anyone notice that JBJ and RoJo started the second half on the bench. Z3 and The Heartman started with Yogi, Hanner & Troy. Was a message being sent to them or did CTC just simply go with the ones who were playing better. I think it was a little bit of both. We crashed hard that final three minutes of the first half, blowing a 10 point lead.
