(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

Recommended Posts

How?  Wouldn't they have to clean house to bring him in?  I thought they could honor their current commits but would have to drop down to 10 scholarships if they were to sign TB.

I think they'd have to get rid of 4 scholarship players to bring him in.

I think its pretty easy to see where we will lose two players. I don't like throwing players under the bus but if April and Priller could really bring something to the table, they would be playing…. Not sure where the third comes from. If Bryant commits, that means Crean has it all figured out. Maybe Robinson? Maybe someone to the NBA? Maybe Devin Davis doesn't come back? Who knows where it will come, but for a talent like Bryant, you have to make a spot for him

Nick Zeisloft is on track to graduate this summer.. i can't imagine that he would be back next year.

Nick Zeisloft is graduating from his grad program in two semesters? Impressive.

Anyway, the room will be here for TB if he chooses to come here, we will find a way.

Might have a class or 2 to complete over the summer though, but still.

That is some quick grad school. Must be taking the max amount of credits, which is super impressive.

He had better be back! He was the #1 most efficient offensive player in the COUNTRY this year. Crean learned his lesson when he did not invite Matt Roth back. We have plenty of other players who contribute very little that can hit the road following this season.

If he graduates from grad school there isn't anything left to be invited back for

I know I heard rumors a while back that he was brought here with only 1 year guarunteed. Obviously that's "wrong" but with the way college sports run these days...

Could be that he is only here to do a 1 year grad program though

It's a 15 month program, but I believe you can finish it sooner than that

Yeah basketball players can get on crazy fast tracks for academic stuff. Crean said Vonleh was something like 48% done with school when he left.

Then freedom is slavery

CnC...I see that you have John Hancock's signature as a signature in your posts...

and you post freedom is slavery...

I'm wondering if you see how ironic that post really is...

or...

am I drinking something into nothing?

Lol. That is ironic haha.

The John Hancock thing was a joke because of "signature" need to change it soon.

The Freedom is Slavery is a reference to Orwell's 1984 (which I have not read, but a teacher of mine used it as one of his quotes of the week). I definitely don't believe Freedom is Slavery, and from what I know about/my teacher said about Orwell he didn't either.
