WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 Interesting stat in Sports Illustrated. Looking at Freshman (14 seasons) they consider a valuable starter someone who plays 50% of teams minutes with an offensive efficiency rating- adjusted for usage rate and defensive strength of schedule of 110.Top 10 --- 76 % meet criteria11-20------ 40% meet21-50----- 24% meet51-100----13% meet. Sophomore leap for ranked recruits averages a bump of 5 ppg. For juniors and seniors 2.5 ppgs. Doesn't factor in defense but interesting nonetheless.
