I also wonder if he likes the setup at UM.  Not all coaches like attention.  He’s in the background there.  Frankly UM fans would throw him in a volcano if it meant UM beat OSU in FB.

I don't think he leaves either, and I get the spotlight part, but I get the sense that he appreciates the history of the sport and would value a currently elite blue blood job like UNC. As good as he is at Michigan, I think he'd be even better at UNC. I think UNC has to at least try to make him say no between 3 and 5 times.

Mark Few turns 64 in December.  Would there be mutual interest between UNC and Few?  Few may be too comfortable being the legend at Gonzaga to make the move, but UNC would be his last chance at winning a title because it isn't going to happen at Gonzaga. UNC could hire Few and an assistant with Carolina ties as a replacement coach in waiting.

Offer him the contract we offered Stevens plus $15-20M in NIL guarantees.  Dare Michigan to match.  That's how you might get him.

That would be the most LSU thing that LSU could do.  They fire the guy 4 years ago for all the NCAA infractions and Federal investigations he racked up, but they bring him back with all that baggage.  LOL

Somewhere in the deep, dark basement of a Btown Banners coaching search thread, when Crean was fired I was on a bender promoting that Ronald Nored should have been a very high potential candidate for the IU job. 

I was largely mocked for this take. Full disclosure; I liked also the Archie hire, but always thought Nored is a dude.

So... Let's go! Time to see if Nored is a great idea or just another guy.
