The defender isn't credited for being quartered on the driver, the driver is quartered to the defender, changes direction slightly and creates contact with the defender in legal position. It would have been nice if the BIG refs had reviewed this video before the start of the BTT, especially the part about the defender needing to be in position before the offensive player leaves his feet. They have a pretty deep coaching tree to choose from. Some at butler weren’t sold on him from the beginning so I’d imagine it would be easy to move on. But maybe not. Quote
